Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Head – Accounts to lead and manage the complete accounting function of the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in financial accounting, statutory compliance, taxation, reporting, audits, and team management. The candidate must have full-fledged accounting knowledge and the ability to handle end-to-end finance operations independently.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end accounting operations including bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, journal entries, and finalization of accounts.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.

Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other statutory regulations.

Handle statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.

Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, and government authorities.

Ensure timely closure of books and accurate financial reporting.

Implement and maintain internal financial controls and accounting processes.

Supervise and mentor the accounts team for smooth departmental functioning.

Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Support management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.

Preferred Candidate Profile

20+ years of experience in accounting and finance functions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Experience in manufacturing/trading/service industry preferred
