Responsibilities
1. International Business Development
- Identify and develop new export markets for specialty chemical products
- Build and maintain strong relationships with multinational clients and distributors
- Monitor global market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory environments
2. Contract Negotiation- Lead commercial negotiations with multinational companies
- Finalize long-term supply agreements, pricing structures, and contract terms
- Ensure contracts align with company profitability goals and compliance standards
3. Export Operations & Logistics Coordination
- Collaborate closely with the logistics and supply chain teams for shipment planning
- Ensure timely dispatch, documentation, and delivery of export orders
- Anticipate and resolve potential delays or bottlenecks in coordination with internal teams
4. Regulatory & Documentation Compliance
- Oversee export documentation including invoices, certificates, and customs paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws, chemical regulations, and safety standards
5. Strategic Planning & Forecasting
- Prepare export sales forecasts.
- Align production planning with export demand by coordinating with manufacturing teams.
6. Team Leadership
- Mentor and guide junior export executives
- Drive performance through clear KPIs and continuous improvement
Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, International Business, or a related field
- 8–15 years of experience in export management, preferably in specialty chemicals or allied industries
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and logistics.
